An education at LCS is about more than just academics.  We desire that the students encourage and show love to one another through various programs and other activities that promote exploration God’s world, use of His gifts to us, and appreciation for others in the supportive community around us.

School Skating

The school books ice time at a local arena and students enjoy an hour of skating weekly during the winter months. There is separate time for junior and senior students.

Christmas Musical

Each year, LCS presents a Christmas musical to celebrate our Lord’s birth and the true meaning of Christmas. Students participate through music, drama, set design, technical support and as a mass choir.

Chapel

Bi-weekly student led, parent attended chapels. Featuring different themes, worship & fellowship.

Team Events

Student Council leads the whole school in in fun and upbuilding events throughout the year. Teams are made up of students from JK-8.

Christian Education Week

Christian Education Week is an opportunity for Christian schools to celebrate God’s blessings with their community and churches. It is an opportunity to be reminded of what God is doing and to consider the difference that LCS is making in the community, in families, and in the lives of God’s children.

Class Trips

There are a variety of different trips that have been done: Camp Kintail, Legoland, Royal Ontario Museum, Wawanosh Nature Centre, a pumpkin patch and the North Perth Fire Hall. The Grade 8 class goes to Ottawa for a multi-day trip where they visit historical sites, skate the Rideau Canal, visit Parliament and sightsee.
